We were touring the Alamo and I sat down on a bench just outside the Alamo church we had just been through when I found this yellow quilted heart. It brought a smile to my face. I instantly thought of the yellow rose of texas. How fitting since we just saw the Alamo with the statue of "the yellow rose of texas" Emily West Morgan. For such a solemn site, it just made me smile. I'm taking this pretty little heart back to Indiana for a little sunshine and remembrance of a great 30th anniversary trip!
