After a heavy lunch, I was planning to go for a walk around my neighborhood. When I opened the garage side door, I found this juvenile Eastern Bluebird perched at my basketball hoop. While I was trying to get a closer look at him, his parent return with food and feeding this hungry baby on the spot. I quickly rush back to get my camera.
When I brought my camera out, he was at the basketball hoop any more. Took me awhile to locate him perched at nearby tree. This is much better for me to capture the tree as background than the basketball hoop.
He seem very hungry waiting for the parent to return with more foods. Both of us were waiting for awhile but still no sign of the parents. My present could have scared the parents away. Took few shots of the baby and left. Didn't want to disturb them and their lunch time anymore.
I didn't realize I have a Eastern Bluebird nest around my house as I didn't setup any bird house at my yard.
