Kris Wu (吴亦凡) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and model of Chinese descent. He is 6'1" tall.

Wu was born Li Jiaheng (李嘉恒) in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. His name was later legally changed to Wu Yi Fan (吴亦凡).

  1. In 2000, he and his mother moved from Guangzhou to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
  2. In 2004, he and his mother went back to China. He attended Guangzhou No. 7 Middle School but shortly after, they moved back to Vancouver where he attended Point Grey Secondary School and Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School.
  3. In 2008, he auditioned for the SM Entertainment in Vancouver. He passed the auditions and became a trainee for the company.
  4. On February 17, 2012, SM Entertainment introduced him as the 11th member of its K-pop boy band EXO. The group's debut album "XOXO" was released on June 3, 2013.
  5. In 2013, he appeared in several television series including "Da Pai Jia Dao (Bigshot)," "After School Club," "Hello, Counselor," "Weekly Idol," "Running Man," "Showtime" and "Let's Go Dream Team."

It marked his debut as a film actor. On July 30, 2015, SM Entertainment filed a lawsuit against him and the Chinese companies working with him at the court in Beijing, China. He played Xiao Fei in "Mr. Six," which was screened at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy on September 12, 2015.

On January 21, 2016, he launched his own charity project called Extraordinary Honorary Court (不凡荣誉球场) in collaboration with Sina, Weibo Sports and Weibo Charity.  In 2016, he starred in four films namely "The Mermaid," "So Young 2: Never Gone," "Sweet Sixteen" and "L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties" and released four singles namely "From Now On," "July," "Sword like Dream" and "Good Kid." For his "Sweet Sixteen" role, he won Best Actor at the 29th Tokyo International Film Festival.

On July 8, 2021, Chinese college student Du Meizhu, then 19, took to Weibo to publicly accuse him of a pattern of sexual assault involving several women, including underage girls, while they were intoxicated and unconscious. He denied the accusations. On July 31, 2021, he was arrested in Beijing on suspicion of rape.
