  8. On January 24, 1981, she went to the house of her boyfriend near 64th Avenue and Broadway in Denver, Colorado. She stormed off angrily on foot after they got into an argument, according to him. Later that day, garbage collectors found her body near a trash bin not far from the house. She had 23 stab wounds.
  9. She was 6-7 months pregnant when she was fatally stabbed on January 24, 1981.
  10. She died at the age of 17. Her murderer has yet to be identified.
