Who doesn't love celebrating special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays or even long weekends over a staycation? But if you are looking for an extended getaway of six nights or longer, Adina Serviced Apartments Singapore Orchard might be a good option.
Just a stroll away from Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations, Adina Singapore is a new service apartment concept bringing some of the charms from down under to Singapore. Adina Singapore takes over the building formerly occupied by Regency House Singapore, and after a revamp, is now freshly opened to welcome guests.
If you're new to the idea of serviced apartments, it is just like a hotel, with more amenities such as fully-equipped kitchenettes for the bona fide home away from home experience. Adina Singapore accepts a minimum booking of six nights.
Staying at Adina Serviced Apartments Singapore Orchard
At Adina Singapore's newly renovated lobby, you'll be welcomed with a yoghurt fruit popsicle at check- in.
Step into your apartment and you'll be greeted by a welcome hamper full of Australian goodies including Kettle Chips, T2 Tea; chocolates, and even a fedora hat.
Adina Singapore Orchard has three different types of accommodation- Studio, 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 387 sqft for a Studio to 1,205 sqft for a 3-Bedroom.
We stayed in the Studio, and here's what you can expect:
Adina Studio: Living area
Spacious and clean with orangey ambient lighting, the apartment is adorned with little design elements that evoke Australia, such as the casual black and white sketches on the walls which might have came straight from some street corner Australian cafe, and sprigs of eucalyptus in a vase.
Wifi coverage in the room is complimentary, so no worries for those who need to work or need online entertainment.
Adina Studio: Sleeping area, separated from the living area by a TV you can turn to face either direction. Adina Studio: View of both living and sleeping areas
The kitchenette comes fully equipped with pots and pans, utensils, and electrical appliances like a microwave and induction stove.
You can order groceries online via gourmet retailer Ryan's Grocery before checking in. The fresh food is sourced directly from artisanal producers in Western Australia. These will then be delivered and received by the reception so that a well-stocked apartment will greet you upon check-in.
Make your way to the breakfast lounge before 10am to enjoy making your own sandwich. Select from a spread of different bread, cheese and ham to whip up your favorite combination. Don't forget to toast it if you love your cheese melted and toast crisp. There are pastries, fruits and yoghurt options as well.
Roof-top swimming pool, 24-hour Gym, and other amenities
Take a dip in the rooftop swimming pool or have a grill party at the barbecue pits. Those who can't miss a day of work out can make use of the 24-hour gym.
At the lobby, there is a refreshment counter where you can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee.
Explore the City
At such a coveted location in the city center and nestled right in the Orchard shopping belt, you'll want to make full use of your time to go exploring. Rent a bike and follow the bicycle route designed by the Adina team which will bring you to various sights like the Singapore river and glitzy Marina bay area.
