"Walking Trouble" Ante Delija, 32, of Dubrovnik, Croatia is the heavyweight champion of the Professional Fighters League in the 2022 season. He now holds a professional mixed martial arts record of 23 wins and 5 losses.
Featuring 11 professional MMA bouts and one amateur MMA bout, "PFL 10: 2022 Championships" was held at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, United States on November 25, 2022. In the 10th bout of the evening, Delija and "Buffa" Matheus Scheffel, 30, of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil competed for the 2022 PFL Heavyweight Championship title.
Dan Miragliotta served as the referee. He stopped the title bout after 2 minutes and 50 seconds in the first round then raised the hand of Delija, who was declared the winner via technical knockout via punches.
Scheffel now has 17 wins and 9 losses. He made his professional MMA debut on February 11, 2012 and made his PFL debut on April 28, 2022.
As the 2022 PFL Featherweight Champion, Delija received $1 million. The Croatian MMA fighter has been competing in the PFL since June 6, 2019.
Including Brazil and Croatia, a total of 10 countries were represented at "PFL 10: 2022 Championships". The others are Australia, Canada, England, Russia, Scotland, Senegal, Sweden and the U.S.

"The 2022 PFL World Championship, live from Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, delivered thrilling action, six world title fights and six $1 million dollar checks on MMA's richest night."
Originally from Dubrovnik, Delija has been training with Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, 48, in Zagreb, Croatia. The latter competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship from 2007 to 2015 and in Bellator MMA in 2019.
Delija made his professional MMA debut in 2011. Before becoming the 2022 PFL Heavyweight Champion, he had 6 wins and 2 losses in the PFL.
The 10th bout at "PFL 10: 2022 Championships" was a rematch between Delija and Scheffel. When they first fought on April 28, 2022, the Croatian MMA fighter defeated his Brazilian opponent.
