Three 6 Gangsta Mafia Boo has passed away. She was 43 years old.
The death of the former rap group member, born Lola Mitchell, was confirmed by her label-mate DJ Paul K.O.M., who posted a photo of her deejaying in tribute.
Her cause of death is unknown.
Mitchell was discovered dead Sunday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. local time, according to Fox 13 in Memphis, Tennessee.
A local Memphis news outlet reported the rapper, born Lola Mitchell, was found dead at 4:00 p.m. local time.

Paul's Instagram post was flooded with condolences, with rapper 2 Chainz commenting, "Mannnn."
A rep for Mitchell didn't immediately return Page Six's request for comment.
The "Late Night Tip" rapper was the second female member of Three 6 Mafia after K-9. Mitchell went on to release various solo albums in addition to appearing on the group's first five studio releases.Previous

After joining Three 6 Mafia in the 1990s, Mitchell left the group in the early 2000s to launch another solo album and numerous mixtapes. She was featured on songs from famous rappers including Gucci Mane, OutKast, The Game and more.
More recently, the Queen of Memphis began working with music outlets such as Uproxx to put out new music and performances. In early December, she shared a video of her live performance of "I'm Fresh" in partnership with the publication.

Just three days ago, the famed performer posted a goofy photo with her friend MJG, writing, "MJG over my erratic behavior #pressure."
