Barry Saturday is an American man from Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, United States. His career experience includes working as a teacher with the Fayette County Public Schools and as a stockbroker with Scottrade Financial Services.
In 2016, Saturday's daughter was born. In 2021, when she was a kindergarten, he requested the Fayette County Public Schools to evaluate her eligibility for grade-skipping.

In 2006, he graduated from the University of Kentucky in Lexington with a bachelor's degrees in foreign languages and international economics.
In 2011, he graduated from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont, USA with a master's degree in diplomacy and global commerce.

He reported he was a victim of cyber intrusion but the FBI did not find any such evidence on his devices. On November 6, 2018, he lost to Susan Lamb in the general election for Lexington City Council District 4. In December 2018, FBI agents interviewed him after he reported again that he was a victim of cyber intrusion again but the FBI did not find any such evidence on his devices.

Wearing a blue denim jacket and a green collared shirt, he went to the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C., USA on January 6, 2021. That day, Donald Trump supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election.
On July 16, 2021, the FBI interviewed him at the FBI'ss resident agency in Lexington regarding a cyber intrusion he reported on his Apple iPhone X. He confirmed that he has owned and utilized this iPhone for the last several years but refused to provide consent to search the device for any cyber intrusion indicators.
In April 2022, the Fayette County Public Schools informed him that his daughter, then 6, had passed all the required assessments for grade-skipping but she was denied the opportunity to skip first grade based on the results of the Iowa Assessment. He ran for election to the Lexington City Council to represent District 4 in Kentucky and lost in the primary election on May 17, 2022.
In April 2023, he filed a lawsuit against Fayette County Public Schools, accusing the district of wrongfully denying his daughter's eligibility for grade-skipping.
On July 28, 2023, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather signed a criminal complaint filed by an FBI special agent against him.
He was 43 years old when he was arrested in Lexington on August 1, 2023. For his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, he was charged with civil disorder; knowingly entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; and disorderly conduct in a U.S. Capitol building.
