It is the 11th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects India's Miss Universe and Miss Supranational candidates. On August 28, 2022, Divita Rai was appointed Miss Diva 2022 in a special coronation ceremony at Famous Studios in Mumbai. Representing India, she finished in the Top 16 at Miss Universe 2022 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on January 14, 2023. Currently, India has 26 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Sushmita Sen in 1994, Lara Dutta in 2000 and Harnaaz Sandhu in 2021. The Asian country also has 11 Miss Supranational placements including the coronation of Asha Bhat in 2014 and Srinidhi Shetty in 2016. There are 16 women competing for the two crowns at Miss Diva 2023.
