Yesterday afternoon brought a different sort of sky, the like of which I'd not seen before.
The only way to describe it is to say that it appeared to have a very long wrinkle.

With a sensation of being under water.

Our sky is often dramatic. This was not.
.
It was soft.
.
A benevolent sky that soon turned dark

Tick tock, tick tock....
0715/10th December.
The mood had changed...
.
and kept on changing...
.
Cats were wanting breakfast but I was otherwise occupied...
.
...keeping watch...
.
Clouds scudded past as the Sun rose
.
as if escaping a conflagration.

No, no, they weren't kept waiting for their breakfast! I let Grant do the honours.
Meal service actually works better when it's not a combined effort.
Grant usually dishes up and I deliver, but in this case the little darlings are apt to put their noses in the air, hoping a better choice may be in the works.
They start swapping bowls and then you lose track of who's been served.
Which I am sure is all a part of their devious plan.
