Yesterday, my troublesome neck and shoulder were injected, all of which took about ten minutes with instant relief.
Next week I have a follow-up in which I can discuss the next target, though which part of my aging anatomy that will be, I have yet to decide.

Some weeks ago after a very brief significantly cold spell, my already arthritic hands suddenly staged a protest, my fingers becoming very stiff and the knuckles swollen.
For them, I don't think there's a cure, but they don't hurt all the time.
One must be grateful!

We set off for Clifton Park at 8 o'clock on a very fair morning which soon warmed up after an overnight freeze.
.
A peaceful time of day.
.
As we climbed out of the valley, I took an over-the-shoulder shot.
.
Last vestiges of ice.
Is there more to come?
.
Those of us who are not climate deniers worry about the flora and fauna and how they will be affected.
Winter in our part of the globe has been extremely mild but there have been seriously cold spikes, mostly at night with resulting great fluctuations.
.
Humans may be very detached from Nature but still we are her creatures and I can't help wondering if all these ups and downs affect us as well.
We adjust our radiators and change our clothing accordingly, but one day recently I felt unaccountably fatigued and I sensed it was related to the constantly changing weather.
.
Don't country people say they can feel changing weather in their bones?
I think my body is having trouble keeping up.
.
We have a lot of ups and downs these days what with the temperature and Grant's blood sugar.
The latter does not change too dramatically, I'm glad to say.
Grant's adjusted diet has made small changes to my own as I now share the fresh vegetables that he cooks!
.
A favourite tree looked set for Spring.
.
And the world seemed bright.
.
At the Hudson, hundreds of noisy geese!
.
It seems a shame to me, that this beautiful Willow is stuck on a busy street corner.
It deserves to be in a lush park.
Beside a river.
.
Or at least in a field.
.
For years, literally, we meant to explore Wilbur Road which runs past Odd Duck Farm.
So, on the way home we finally did.
.
It was quite the tidiest road.
.
Even an abandoned barn was neat.
.
Then we came upon something different.
.
Hulks! Lots of them...
.
.
We didn't loiter but when we got home I decided to have a look on Google Maps.
These were all really old vehicles, older even than me, possibly, which makes me wonder who has been collecting them and where did they all come from?
And so forth.
.
There must be several hundred, spread out through the woods.
There was a sign with a phone number but I doubt Grant will offer to call!
