My name is Tina Marie. I am what some color delivery driver, however with Texoma Delivery, I take the utmost pride and calling myself a server that just happens to drive to a restaurant to pick up an order that my patrons have ordered and take it to there homes to serve their families.
It was March 30th, and I had gotten an alert to go to Cracker Barrel, on I-35 service road South. It was so busy. All day I saw traffic on the highways on the roads, the fast food restaurants parking lots were full, the hustle and bustle of people shopping getting the Easter stuff for their children's baskets. And I just thanked God that I did have my family, although my children are grown and a family of their Own, and each one to celebrate Easter at their own homes. I had a pain of loneliness. But then I had to remember what it was like when I was young and had children at home, and so I made I promise to God that I was going to try to bless each and every person that come into my path.
Is approached the sidewalk on Cracker barrel, I saw an elderly man sitting on one of the rocking chairs, I smiled and nodded my head towards him, across from him, sitting on a bench, what's the sweetest older lady, I smiled and said good evening to her.
I open the first set of doors, and as I was reaching for the second set in the entrance to go into the country store, I looked over toward the window area, to my left, and I seen a heart shape with a ribbon, face side down. Initial thought was "Oh no. Someone bought that, and maybe it fell out of their bag, or they dropped it out of their hand." I almost left it right where it laid. Thinking someone would come back for it to claim it. But something drew me to it, so I opened the door back up and grab the heart, and proceeded to the cash register to hand it to the sweetest lady named Lauren. She's a two star server at Cracker Barrel. Extended my hand with the heart and told her, "I found this in between the entryway. I don't know if someone dropped it, or perhaps a child grabbed it in the parent made them put it down." I handed it to Lauren and proceeded to tell her that I was there to pick up an order with Texoma Delivery. She turned the heart over and looked at it, and they gave me the biggest smile, and said, "You found a quilted heart. This is yours to keep honey."I didn't know about the quilted heart yet, so her and the other cashier explained it to me. And she handed me back the heart she said go to that website and look it up you can read all about it there.
It was the most beautiful thing that I had come across that day. And I realized, when I was asking God to let me bless others, He blessed me with this beautiful quilted heart. ❤️
I know a lot of love went into this and a lot of thought. And I can almost guarantee you there was a lot of prayer for this heart to find the home that needed it most. And it did.
