Chapter 2:(FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES AND DIRECTIVE PRINCIPLES OF STATE POLICY)
Section 16(1) Paragraphs A & B of the 1999 Nigeria constitution as amended, though not being justiciable has created expectations on the part of the government on what to deliver to its citizens, Any government of this great nation that fails to deliver its corporate social responsibility to its citizens is a failed government. The question that begs for an answer is this;
Has the FG under PBAT has been or been able to deliver its corporate social responsibility as contained in chapter two of this constitution vis avis the removal of fuel subsidy?
The chapter two of the Constitution is as follows;
(1) The State shall, within the context of the ideals and objectives for which provisions are made in this Constitution.
(a) harness the resources of the nation and promote national prosperity and an efficient, dynamic, and, self-reliant economy;
(b) control the national economy insubordination to secure the maximum welfare, freedom, and hap, pies of every citizen based on justice and equality of status and opportunity.
And,
Chapter 4:
FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS.
Section 33.
(1) Every person has a right to life, and no one shall be deprived intentionally of his life, save in execution of the sentence of a court in respect of a criminal offense bound guilty in Nigeria.
Tell me which part of the chapters of the constitution your lead FG has been able to discharge.
From the foregoing question, it is obvious that your administration has failed to address Nigerian socio socio-political gems from the first day of your assumption of office. The subsidy removal has subjected Nigerians to torture, poverty, hardship, and dehumanization. Subsidy removal has skyrocketed the prices of basic goods, and people now feed feeds hand to mouth. After the removal of subsidy, average Nigerians have dropped from average to zero income thereby resulting in the dehumanization of their human persons. This is nothing less than the deprivation of their fundamental human rights. It is worthy of note that fundamental right is a core element of a citizen society. Any government by its policies that dehumanizes its citizens is said not to be civilized and democratic.
I know you will claim that you ambushed the immediate past led- government of President Buhari when they introduced subsidy removal but you announced and enforced it the h is that you are the president of federal the Republic of Nigeria, you can and use your high office to end this unprepared subsidy removal and we the unemployed Nigeria youths/citizens will applaud you for once. We will be happy to receive it as one one-year in-office Nigerians.
I believe in the 3C's of struggle (consultation, consolidation, and co, and confrontation if need be).
If all these sufferings do not change in two weeks(2 weeks), I and like-minds will back shameful protests tagged OCCUPY NIGERIA! he added"
