MAFS Oz
Watching series 11 as it was shown in the UK is worth a mention because it was a big commitment; like a marriage! There were 4 episodes a week and as I could not skip adverts they took 1 and half hours each. I have now watched several Oz series and all UK ones. Yes it has become more trashy but still odd point of interest.
Mum
I found this on BBC iPlayer. There are three series of 6 episodes. It is a gentle comedy and the episodes are just 30minutes long so it is easy to watch. The title category has a grown up son who lives at home for the first two series; this involves having his girlfriend being in residence too. The first episode is the funeral for the Father of the family. The Mum also deals with visits from her parent in law, her brother and his girlfriend who all take some looking after causing commercial chaos.
Additionally Michael who was her husband's friend is a regular visit. There is clear attraction between Michael and Mum throughout but it is awkward for them to continue because of how the family are grieving over the Father. This creates will they won't they intrigue throughout!
I want to watch more episodes!
Dinosaur
Also found this one on iPlayer. It is a comedy about a neurodivergent women and her family; mainly her sister who has just got engaged. Again 30minute episodes.
Race across the world
Never watched any of these before. I just happened to have tv on the right channel when the first episode was starting and first episode was in Japan so I was curious to learn about travelling in Japan. Even then I was not planning to watch more; think did not continue with second episode but, then ended up watching third and got absorbed in watching more to see who would win each stage and overall. Along way interesting to see different countries / cultures and the participants experiences and reactions under the pressure of the race.
Watched the end of the race last night. There is just a reunion show to watch now.
Have you watched any of these shows? What do you think?
