Jumeirah Al Naseem has unveiled a unique stay experience to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP). This serene beachside sanctuary offers guests an unforgettable escape while supporting wildlife conservation efforts.
An Exclusive Conservation-Focused Stay
To commemorate this milestone, Jumeirah Al Naseem has crafted an exclusive turtle-inspired stay experience. Guests will enjoy special welcome amenities, gain behind-the-scenes insights into the DTRP's work, and know that a portion of their stay rate supports ocean conservation.
Curated Turtle Encounters
The experience includes a guided tour of the turtle rehabilitation facilities, beginning at the Aquarium at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, where rescued turtles embark on their recovery journey. The tour continues at the Turtle Rehabilitation Sanctuary at Jumeirah Al Naseem, home to five outdoor lagoons where turtles regain strength before their release. Guests can participate in turtle feeding, enhancing their connection to the conservation efforts.
Ocean-Themed Culinary Delights
A highlight of the stay is the new ocean-themed four-hands afternoon tea at Al Mandhar Lounge. This culinary collaboration features Executive Pastry Chef Julien Jacob and renowned Pâtissier and Chocolatier Philippe Rigollot. Their special menu includes signature savories and sweets, inspired by childhood candies, using sustainably sourced, local ingredients with reduced sugar. The tea is presented on an ocean-inspired stand adorned with repurposed coral and marble.
Additional Amenities and Activities
Guests will also enjoy daily breakfast, unlimited admission to Wild Wadi Waterpark™, and access to complimentary non-motorized water sports on Jumeirah's pristine beach. Wellness facilities at Talise Spa, Talise Fitness, J Club, and KiDS at Jumeirah Al Naseem are available for junior guests. A special feature allows guests to track the journeys of released turtles, providing a personal connection to the conservation efforts.
Commitment to Turtle Conservation
The DTRP, in collaboration with Dubai's Wildlife Protection Office and supported by the Dubai Royal Family and Central Veterinary Research Laboratory (CVRL), has been crucial in rehabilitating and releasing over 2,150 turtles since its inception in 2004.
