LG Electronics is taking its brand promise of 'Life's Good' to new heights with a global social media challenge designed to spread everyday optimism. This initiative, running across TikTok and Instagram, invites users worldwide to post moments of positivity and selfies featuring the popular "finger heart" gesture – a mini heart symbol made with the index finger and thumb, inspired by K-pop idols. Participants should use the hashtags #LifesGood and #OptimismYourFeed.
Spreading Positivity Through Social Media
The social media challenge is part of LG's broader 'Optimism Your Feed' campaign. Last month, LG launched an 'Optimism Your Feed' playlist, a collection of original content created in collaboration with global influencers known for their positive impact. This playlist, available on TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms, has already amassed over 1.2 billion views in just three weeks, reflecting its global resonance and viewers' eagerness to influence their social media algorithms positively.
Joining Influencers in the Optimism Movement
Users are encouraged to join influencers like Tina Choi, Victoria Browne, Josh Harmon, Team1llusion, Lenna Vivas, and Samuel Weidenhofer in spreading optimism across social media. In just four days, approximately 21,000 users have joined the movement, sharing their optimistic moments and helping to foster a more positive online environment.
Offline Campaign: 'Optimism Your Day'
Complementing the online challenge, LG has also launched an offline campaign event called 'Optimism Your Day,' which will run until early July. Continuing from last year, a truck decorated with the 'Life's Good' brand slogan is touring 11 business sites in Korea. This truck features a large LED display showcasing 'Life's Good' campaign videos and positivity slogans shared by LG employees worldwide. This initiative aims to spread the message of optimism not only to the public but also within the company.
Join the movement by sharing your moments of optimism with #LifesGood and #OptimismYourFeed, and be a part of a global community dedicated to spreading joy and positivity.
