The total number of fatalities in the Al-Mangaf building reached 49, with 42 of the victims being Indian nationals. The remaining casualties included Pakistani, Filipino, Egyptian, and Nepali nationals. The injured individuals are currently receiving appropriate medical treatment and care at five government hospitals in Kuwait, namely Adan, Jaber, Farwaniya, Mubarak Al Kabeer, and Jahra hospitals. According to reports from the hospital authorities, the majority of the admitted patients are in stable condition. In response to the incident, Adarsh Swaika, the Ambassador of India in Kuwait, promptly visited the site of the fire and the hospitals to assess the well-being of the Indian nationals affected.
