The nonprofit is back and says they are more determined than ever to explore ways to block out the sun in order to combat human-caused climate change. The theory behind the Alameda experiment involved was to inject an aerosol chemical in the atmosphere in hopes of brightening clouds so as to block the sun's light and heat. As it turns out, last year the Biden White House expressed support for exploring a goal similar to the Almeda experiment only to later back down after being scolded for considering it. Marc Morano of Climate Depot was interviewed earlier this year about this very topic and he reveals how this kind of whacky experimentation has been seen before.
