WWW Wednesdays is a bookish meme that was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived by "fledgling writer" Sam A. Stevens on Taking on a World of Words. To participate, you just answer the Three W's:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you'll read next?
Currently Reading:
I started reading this novel by Stuart Turton and it drew me in right away. Looking forward to getting back to it once I finish work tonight.
I have been speeding through Anne Hillerman's novel from last year at a furious pace and will most likely finish it in another night or two. I am still looking for a copy of her latest, Lost Birds, and might have to order it from a vendor in the States.
Recently Finished:
Frederick Nolan's brief history of the West left me wanting more. Thankfully, a great recommended reading section is included at the back of the book.
This was a fun read and I am already planning to read the second of the series, Call of the Penguins, within the next month or two.
Reading Next:
I enjoy learning different aspects of the founding of the United States. This looks like an interesting (and timely) read detailing the composition and approval of our Declaration of Independence, clearing up some of the myths surrounding this document.
As mentioned in yesterday's Tuesday Intros, The Secret River is my choice for July's Crossing Continents challenge of a book set in Australia.
Happy Reading!
