It's rare that I find one I don't like, but Delice des Deux-Sevres really impressed me. I bought it at The Concord Cheese Shop on a hot day when I was looking to pair cheese with a crisp white wine. Produced in Bougon, north and east of Bordeaux, Delice des Deux-Sevres is a soft creamy cheese covered in ash. It is rich but subtle in flavor and has a unique ovular shape and looks beautiful when you cut into it. It comes in 150 g portions, which is about 5 oz. The price varies wildly. I have seen it online for as much as $25, or $75 per pound, but I believe I got it for just under $40 per pound. That's expensive, but worth it. I highly recommend it.
