In celebration of Singapore's 59th year of independence, Singtel has launched its most valuable SIM-only, no-contract mobile plans, alongside a variety of deals across mobile, TV, and broadband services. These offerings are designed to reward loyal customers and cater to evolving digital and travel lifestyles. Additionally, Singtel has released a heartwarming film capturing the quintessential Singaporean kampong spirit.
Innovative SIM-Only Plans for Modern Lifestyles
Following a study conducted by Singtel in late 2023, which revealed customers' preferences for flexible payment options and value-added services like roaming, the company introduced no-contract SIM-only plans. These plans offer enhanced connectivity, essential for supporting the digital consumption habits of customers, and include roaming and mobile security services.
The new 5G plans are categorized into "Core," "Plus," and "Ultra," offering high-speed connectivity, low latency, and high bandwidth. These plans cater to customers streaming videos in ultra-high definition and gaming on the go. Notably, they include value-added services such as international roaming, mobile security, and a subscription to Disney+ Premium, which supports 4K UHD and HDR video playback. Subscribers will also receive up to $20 in monthly cashback when purchasing a phone through Singtel PayLater.
These high-value plans include free data roaming of up to 6GB, ensuring seamless connectivity across 18 destinations, including popular holiday spots like Australia, Japan, and South Korea.

Celebrating Friendship and National Day Spirit
Singtel's second National Day film, "LIFT," is set in a public housing lift, a familiar sight for many Singaporeans. The film features two strangers who find themselves in an unfortunate situation and showcases the infamous Singaporean kampong spirit that emerges when a fellow neighbor needs help.
The main characters, Farah and Ah Ben, are in the lift when it suddenly stalls. Ah Ben, who is claustrophobic, becomes anxious and turns to his phone for solace, only to realize it has no reception. Farah uses her Singtel 5G-connected device to livestream scenes from the National Day parade, calming Ah Ben and fostering a budding friendship between them.
"LIFT" can be viewed on Singtel's Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube pages.
