This was in a charming town in France's Provence called
Jonquières, and if you want to bookmark it for your future travels, here's the exact
Google Maps link.
Even though it was the first day of the season and we were worried the tulips would blow away (fyi: it was super windy), everything still worked out beautifully!
The best part? It was so affordable β a bouquet of 10 flowers for only β¬5, and 25 stems for just β¬10. It was an absolute steal that once I got home, I managed to fill up three vases with the 25 tulip bundle; and seriously? Having fresh flowers around makes such a difference in a home. Even Franck, my husband, who's not into such frills, agreed that it truly brightens the place up.
This experience has me thinking: I need to see more flower fields.
That's why the next time I'm in Japan or Korea (hopefully in spring), I'm already eyeing spots filled with wisteria, rapeseed flowers, and so much more. In fact, if you're already nearby, you should check out these top flower fields (if not add them to your travel bucketlist!)
